Growing
up a preacher’s kid, Bethany Riethmaier has always looked to the Bible
as a source of inspiration. She attended Birmingham-Southern College
and majored in Collaborative Education; she was a kindergarten teacher
for two years. Though she loved teaching, her hobby of writing and
making personalized gifts began to flourish. She began writing crosses
with scripture and giving them as gifts. Finding such a big demand for
them, she began a small business called Simply Written Designs.
Simply Written Designs
offers a variety of handmade stationery and gifts. Our unique, stylized
scripts form designs for all occasions. We handcraft each design and
hand-finish each of our creations. We provide custom and limited
edition stationery and wall art. We specialize in crosses spelled out
in scripture and poetry. All of our work is suitable for framing as a
gift or a memory-evoking piece of art for your home. It is our hope
that the words of our designs evoke a flood of memories for you.
